More Fitness in Less Time
Whole Body Vibration (WBV) stimulation is used to enhance stretching, strength, power and endurance along with the benefits of increased fluid flow in working muscles. Studies show major improvements of 10% to 30%, in bone density, increased muscle strength, motor recruitment enhancement, increased resting metabolic rates and reduced blood pressure with Whole Body Vibration Exercise.

The advantage of a Total Body Vibration Climber and Stepper is wider distribution of vibration input to various parts of the body: foot pedals, hand grips, seat, side handrails--providing a more even means of applying vibration.

Whole
Body Vibration

It is important to understand that when standing on a vibrating platform, the major vibration effect is at the feet. The effect diminishes as the vibration waves move upward through the body. In contrast, the ExerVibe VersaClimber combines the known advantages of vibrating platforms with the additional capability to target either the total body or specific body parts during both static and dynamic exercises. It applies vibration stimulation to the user through foot pedals, handgrips, handrails and a seat with selectable on and off vibration cycle time.

Whole Body Vibration Versatility
Vibration exercise enhances physical fitness for activities of daily life. The benefits of total body stimulation opens a new frontier of health and fitness. While vibrating platforms stimulate from the feet upward, the ExerVibe VersaClimber stimulates from the feet upward, the seat upward and downward and from the arms downward for a more effective Total Body Stimulation. The ExerVibe VersaClimber is the most versatile device available to efficiently and effectively implement the benefits of whole body vibration (WBV) exercise technology throughout the body. This is achieved by transferring vibrations to muscle fibers, enabling them to contract and relax up to 30x a second (which is referred to as 30 htz). It activates multiple muscle groups simultaneously to improve muscle strength, power, performance, increased flexibility and range of motion.

Added versatility the ExerVibe Climber provides vs. standing on platform.

1. Stand on pedals and hold handrails.
(This duplicates a vibrating platform)

2. Stand, hold handrails and take steps
from 1 to 18 inches high.

3. Stand and hold handgrips in an isometric
full body stretch.

4. Stand and hold handgrips exercising
arms and legs from 1 to 18 inches.

5. Sit motionless on vibrating seat and
hold handrails.

6. Sit and exercise legs.

7. Sit and exercise arms.

8. Sit and exercise arms and legs.

9. Stand on the floor and exercise arms only.

Studies of whole body vibration platform have been published in prestigious scientific peer-reviewed literature such as Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise, the Journal of Bone and Mineral Research, Clinical Physiology, and the European Journal of Applied Physiology. Exervibe Stepper
Benefits of Vibration
:: History of Vibration

“Vibrational training is a vital component to our warm-ups, particularly on higher intensity training days when the nervous system needs greater stimulus.  We use the Exervibe due to its unique structure to affect the entire body, not just target the lower or upper limbs, which is the limiting factor in using traditional vibration plates.  Our athletes experience large increases in their range of motion almost immediately after using the Exervibe, not to mention their increased sensitivity to subsequent explosive movements.”

Patrick Jacobs PhD has recently completed a
research study of the effects of the ExerVibe Climber. Jacobs, an associate professor at Florida Atlantic University examined the
effects of climbing with superimposed vibration on upper and lower body flexibility.
Climbers are commonly used as a means of total body exercise to warm-up, or prepare,
and train the body.

The study participants, including nine males and nine females, underwent testing of lower body and upper body flexibility using a sit-and-reach test and shoulder rotation reach test. Subjects participated in three testing sessions including climbing with and without vibration for five minutes and a five minute control condition. As expected, the results indicated a positive change in flexibility climbing with vibration with no flexibility effects noted with the
control condition. The interesting results of the study are significant enhancements of both upper and lower body flexibility from climbing with vibration, which were almost twice those measured when climbing without vibration.
